I bought the car from a dealer in manchester 18 months ago and ran the car through the summer. I then took it off the road and did an extensive refit through the winter.
This is fully documented with photos. Work included:-
Brake shoes to rear with cylinders adjusters lines and axle oil seals
All fluids and oils changed. new Front brakes pads drilled discs and calipers flexis x 3 .
All bushes replaced with rubber ones
Brake servo replaced master cylinders refurbished clutch slave cylinder and flexi replaced. The clutch was done before i got the car.
Reconditioned front shocks, rear are gaz telescopic a few years old but still good.
Rear springs are recent and brake lines replaced where needed. A stainless exhaust is fitted and a cooling fan
The interior is excellent as is the sunroof both bieng replaced recently. Headlining is excellent.
I have done a full sill and chassis replacement to nearside and the car is fully wax injected so no rot known underside was sream cleaned and treated with lanoguard/ black waxol.
Overdrive works well no noise from axle on changing. Bodywork is very good for a car this age but not concourse as is reflected in the price.
Electronic ignition ensures easy starting .
I use the car in dry weather weekly with no issues. stored in a dry heated garage.
Mot done road tax exempt with low insurance tyres all good and matching.
Period radio fitted and i am told rebuilt to stream music, there are no speakers in the car so i cant be sure its working.
Selling as its time for another project for next winter. The car is very useable and gets attention where it goes, the door fit id good and the paint has only minor blemishes
