Classic VW Beetle 1973 1300 in Alpine white
This vehicle has covered just over 34, 000 miles since new and is in its original condition, has had only 3 former keepers, having never been welded, painted, repaired or damaged. It is a completely honest vehicle, owned for the last 20 years, and has covered less than 2000 miles in that time.
It is stored in a garage and covered at all times, however for a few years it was stored outside with a cover over it and has some slight surface rust as you can see in the pictures. Please do not expect a show winning, completely mint vehicle, it is over 50 years old now and is original. The pictures form part of this description, please ask if you require any specific and I’ll do my best to add them.
Being a completely original car, there are some bits that could be replaced, the drivers side front wing has rust under the headlight, and there is surface rust on the bonnet from stone chips. The interior is completely original with the exception of a couple of speakers that have been put in the front door cards. The headlining is good and there are no rips or tears on the seats. The engine runs sweet having recently been fully serviced including oil change, points, plugs, leads, distributor and filters. It has 4 brand new tyres on it and the original brakes work really well. The heater channels are in excellent condition and there is next to no end float on the engine.
The fuel tank was replaced a few years ago, the rear bumper will come with the car, as well as many documents, receipts and original vw booklets. It has the original wheel jack and brace, and original vw mudflaps.
The car has recently been fully serviced and checked over to an MOT standard, however it does not require an MOT and is tax exempt.
It drives superbly, and has an extensive service history, including the original service and vehicle documents from the factory.
This is a very reluctant sale and will be sold to an enthusiast who will get many years of enjoyment from it.
