1963 Triumph TR4
We are delighted to offer this early Triumph TR4 presented in the attractive colour of Powder Blue complimented by blue trim with a bespoke mohair hood. Offered with the correct mechanical specification of 4 speed manual non overdrive transmission and non-IRS set up as befitted these early models.
This vehicle was supplied, when new, to California where is remained until the car was imported and subsequently purchased by the current owner during covid. The car presented incredibly well for an unrestored car having benefitted from the dry state conditions, upon purchase, the vendor then undertook a full restoration which was completed in 2023.
Returned to bare metal and rebuilt to UK right hand drive specifications. The bodywork is all original and maintains that authenticity often lost when restored. Mechanically, the engine, gearbox and back axle have all been rebuilt to factory standard and covered little over 1000 dry miles since completion. Fitted with upgraded sports exhaust, MX5 seats and a sports steering wheel, the original seats will be supplied with the vehicle.
This wonderful TR4 comes complete with a comprehensive history file detailing the restoration work carried out. An ideal candidate for the concours lawn or any rally/ tours. The car is being sold by the vendor as a private sale but is available for viewing at our Oxfordshire facility by appointment only.
