Description
This is an ex army Landrover in need of restoration. This was running well when I parked a few years ago. I bought it from the defender centre with 55k on the clock. At this point they fitted a reconditioned army engine which has since done 18k. It currently has a dead battery and hasn’t run for a few years so I believe will need to be taken away on low loader or trailer. I had hoped to restore this LR but now need to get rid of it quickly so asking 500 or nearest offer.
The chassis and bulkhead appear to be ok although rusty. The front passenger door has let in water so rusting and footwell needs repair panel due to rust. Inside back is fitted with bench seats. The original role bar was cut off and ex military hard top fitted and windows added.
Front diff has a diff guard.
Fitted with adjustable height tow hook.
Rear door new when I bought it.
Windscreen is new. Repaired after my last drive and never been out on the road.
Working 5 way light switch.
When last running I used this regularly and enjoyed driving this. Brilliant in snow never struggling.
I am very happy to do my best to answer questions. This is a true classic. Great fun to drive and although not fast is extremely capable.
Very easy to work on and spares are easy to find.
