I am the third owner and purchased in 2018 after being dry stored for some years in 2020 the extensive restoration was completed by myself with the help of a friend who carried out re- spray in its original colour , there is a current MOT which runs to April 2026 , although this vehicle is totally ULEZ compliant , All road tyres replaced along with powder coated rims having security wheel locking, where possible OME parts used ie; brake cylinders and callipers / clutch cylinders / front seat covers and swabs , front steer and suspension bushes replaced with poly type. A battery isolated is fitted to rear of drivers seat with indication of function, The REMOV-A-TOP- SUNROOF was installed by previous owner , full instruction included , also new petrol tank installed by the same person. the number plates have original dealers name . Map pocket at passengers foot well, The S/ U carburettors have had STAY UP FLOATS fitted , centre arm rest / box in working condition, Both doors have been wax oiled as part of restoration quarter light seals replaced along with air intake grill on bonnet Area. The over drive engages in 3rd & 4th gears via function lever at steering column (same lever as wiper control) 2 speed wipers , although there is no steering assistance the driving experience one feels whilst enjoying old style motoring is very good. The joys of old style motoring back in the days of open roads and country lanes.
I have made several trips to France where this vehicle comes into it own and kilometre's unspoiled country side to enjoy along with my wife.
