ACCESSORIES: “Power steering”, “Windshield washer”, “Cadillac wheel discs” (chrome wheel covers), “Bi-colour synthetic leather seat covers”, “Interior vanity mirrors”, “Right-hand and Left-hand spotlights” (additional swivel spotlights with built-in rearview mirrors), “High beam control” (pedal flasher), “Automatic heating system” and “Signal seeking pre-selector radio” (radio with channel preselector)
Among the available versions, the “Series 62 Coupé De
Ville” stood out for its elegance, exhibiting the “De Luxe finishing”: on the outside and inside, stainless steel profiles and frames plus thick, and, in the passenger compartment, details with satin paint and exclusive seat, door panel and headliner upholstery, available in 8 combinations of nylon fabric, imitation leather and leather. As standard it adopted the “Hydro-Lectric” (electro-hydraulic) command for opening and closing the windows and for adjusting the front seat.

Tra le versioni disponibili spiccava per eleganza proprio la “Series 62 Coupé De
Ville” che esibiva il “De Luxe finishing”: all’esterno e all’interno profili e cornici inox più spessi, e, nell’abitacolo, particolari con verniciatura satinata ed esclusivi rivestimenti dei sedili, dei pannelli porta e del cielo, disponibili in 8 combinazioni di tessuto di nylon, finta pelle e pelle. Di serie adottava il comando “Hydro-Lectric” (elettroidraulico) per l’apertura e la chiusura dei finestrini e per la regolazione del sedile anteriore.

Laid to rest in the barn of the country house, in 2008 it was put up for sale by the heirs and purchased by a Milanese enthusiast who, despite its good condition, subjected it to a radical restoration and then registered it in Italy in 2013. In 2018 it was purchased by the current owner, a Cadillac enthusiast and 1950s American cars in general, who added this example to his private collection after completing the tuning work to bring it to the level it is at today.

Questo esemplare venne acquistato nuovo a Detroit e rimase nelle mani dello stesso proprietario per oltre mezzo secolo, fino al 2004. Messa a riposo nel fienile della casa di campagna, nel 2008 è stata messa in vendita dagli eredi e acquistata da un appassionato milanese che, nonostante le buone condizioni, la sottopose ad un restauro radicale per poi immatricolarla in Italia nel 2013.
Nel 2018 è stata acquistata dall’attuale proprietario, appassionato di Cadillac ed auto americane anni ‘50 in genere, il quale ha inserito questo esemplare nella sua collezione privata non prima di averne terminato i lavori di messa a punto per portarla al livello in cui si presenta oggi.
