One family owned from new and just under 6k recorded miles from new!

This could possibly be a unique opportunity to acquire a one family owned, 1st series Lotus Elise with just under 6k miles recorded from new.
On sale on behalf of the widow of it's original owner, purchased new from Kinsey Jones, Bury on 19/ 06/ 1998 and ordered in Aluminium exterior with read leather interior.
Are there any lower mileage Elise's? Possibly but I've not seen one. With a number of other classic vehicles, including a Jaguar XK, Lancia Montecarlo, plus others and a busy lifestyle it seems the Elise didn't see the kind of action it deserved. However, this means it's now available for it's next owner to get the fun and excitment of one of the best handling cars of it's day
In a lovely colour combination of Aluminium with red leather interior and red hood with immaculate silver alloys.
Condition is highly original, even down to the tyres (which will need replacing).
MOT until July 2025, but we would advise as sensible, a full service, cambelt change before pressing back into full use.
Whilst in very nice order cosmetically and it presents very well, there are imperfections as you might expect from so many years of storage. These include some paint imperfections, a mouse nibble on the drivers seat base (see pic), plus a few other cosmetic marks.
On the road it drives very well indeed, the engine pulls smoothly and strongly, the brakes work well and it handles just as you'd want. Precise, sharp and great fun!
