Beautiful Ford Prefect, this is a light project car, running very well, fuel pump rebuilt with kit designed to be more resistant to modern fuels, but I always use E5
the air filter is on the car and working, but not shown in the pictures
Can cruise on the motorway at 45 to 50mpg very smooth.
Has been fitted with electronic ignition, it runs on a 6V Positive earth system
Interior is a little rough but perfectly usable, has the rare and desired front bench seat, gives a fantastic 1950s experience.
Brakes are very good, but tires a little old, a new set would be a good idea
The passenger side window will want to be replaced as it has cracked
drives side window has hairline crack
These cars are going for £6, 000 plus when restored. With a little bit of TLC this will be a very fun and reliable everyday classicReluctant sale, loosing storage sadly, I love driving this car, its very very reliable, always starts, very comfortable, will take 4 people no problem at all
