Description
Up for sale is my beautiful 1980 Citroën GSA Club – a rare early example of the GSA crossover model that uniquely retains the iconic GS dashboard. Finished in eye-catching Mimosa Yellow, this car is a true head-turner and an absolute joy to drive.
Approximately seven years ago, the car underwent a no-expense-spared, nut-and-bolt restoration by the renowned Chevronic Centre. The work totalled over £10, 000, with detailed invoices included as part of the history file.
In the last few months, the ignition system was fully overhauled with new spark plugs, ignition leads, distributor cap, rotor, and condenser. The Chevronic Centre also adjusted the tappets, tuned the carburettor, and performed a fresh oil and filter change.
While not a concours example, the car is in excellent condition and, in my opinion, wouldn’t take much to elevate it to show standard. It’s been well cared for, and I have a collection of photos documenting the restoration. The car also appears in several Chevronic Centre YouTube videos during the rebuild process.
Reluctantly selling due to lack of use – with a young child, I simply don’t have the time to enjoy it as it deserves.
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a piece of Citroën history that’s both collectible and a pleasure to drive.
