Description
Kawasaki H1D 500 1973. This bike has had a full nut and bolt restoration using mainly Kawasaki genuine parts.
Paintwork done by Kawasaki triples workshop. Crank rebuilt by Gary Clarke with new seals, bearings, rods etc. Rebored to first oversize with Kawasaki pistons and rings. Stator and solid state ignition units tested by Rex speedshop with a clean bill of health. New coils fitted and also has a new genuine Kawasaki main wiring harness along with many more parts to make this bike stand out. It also has the standard airbox fitted along with the intake snorkel. Wheel rims are Takasago which have been rechromed along with other parts by Steve Smethurst and he also cleaned and refurbished the crankcases, barrels, heads and casings. Exhausts are correct H1D type and rechromed by S and T.
Fitted with Bridgestone BT46 tyres.
This bike starts and runs really nice and has only done 120 miles since the restoration so will require some more running in before it can finally show its full legendary performance

I have owned it since 2015 and during this time I have undertaken a full restoration.
