Lotus Elan S4 SE Coupe - 1969 £24, 500 ono
Great looking well running car rebuilt on Spyder chassis. Based near Milton Keynes. I have decided to sell my Elan after nearly 8 years of ownership.
I bought it to have a classic on the road whilst I was rebuilding an Alfa Giulietta Sprint, which is now on the road.
I have dallied with this sale as I couldn’t decide what to sell – they are very different beasts.
But there is too much of me invested in the Alfa so the Lotus needs to go to make way for another project
I purchased a car that was totally rebuilt in 2009-11 with Spyder chassis. Bodywork is excellent with no damage or 'spiders' in the glassfibre
It runs very sweetly with no smoke and strong oil pressure
No over heating issues
Replacement servo, starter, rebuilt head, rear adjustable Spax, Aluminium fuel tank
