Description
Update 16/ 05/ 25 - Sale agreed in principle.
Reluctantly selling my 75th Anniversary No. 1120 of 2000 as I am unable to drive her as often as I should due to other interests and commitments.
Garaged its whole life, waxoyled sills, doors and undersealed subframes and arches when new. In fact anywhere that Rover skimped on!
Mainly driven on dry roads and never in winter.
Part service history with cam belt changed in 2013 at 13, 000 miles and serviced in 2022 by Chic Doig - MG and Classic specialist. Remaining services carried out by me. Receipts available.
Fitted with OEM MG mud flaps
Matching floor mats with mulberry red piping
Additional MG rubber mats.
Factory windstop
Mullberry red tonneau cover
Mike Satur CAT saver (closed end) nuts and driver's seat lowering springs
Paintwork is in near showroom condition aside from one or two small stone chips commensurate with road use.
Car will be MoT'd shortly. I have owned the car from new, purchased June 1999 from Morrisons Garage in Stirling. This car in Mulberry Red with matching leather is becoming rare and will be an appreciating classic. Less than 250 of 500 were produced in this colour which to the best of my knowledge, never featured in any subsequent production runs. There is a dark red that is close to, but not identical.
Lovingly cared for, the car is in original factory spec and has not been modified.
When the sun shines, the metallic red paint really pops and is a definite head turner.
A photo of the car features on the Ultimatemgf website describing the 75th Anniversary model.
