FORD ESCORT XR3 1982 5 SPEED
Been in dry storage for 7 years.
Petrol tank cleaned out, New fuel & breather lines, New Fuel pump.
Mileage 114462. Tax & MOT Except.
Solid car, not a rust bucket! Solid underneath & battery tray solid. Only 2 patches of welding. Just needs some TLC to make perfect. Flocked dash. Mostly good paint work, needs a front wing repainted & needs a sunroof as previous owner sealed it shut! Runs and drives fine.
Car had Ford ZIEBART RUST PROTECTION FROM NEW. I put on Axle stands and had a good look underneath, the main chassis and seals are all solid, no rust or holes! Took wheels off and checked all arches and again NO RUST OR HOLES
Battery Tray is SOLID NO RUST. Boot floor/ spare wheel storage is SOLID NO RUST.
Great looking original car. Priced to sell. CLASSIC XR3 all standard. Has the 5 speed box as standard. Original seats and material cloth.
Original cloverleaf alloys x 5. Alloys all in great condition as were painted before storage.
ZIEBART from New! I have the original large Air filter but was bought with the “XR3 K & N” filter housing.
