Description
1977 (1978 model) CT90.
In very good condition. Runs and rides well. It has new tyres and battery and everything works just as it should. The indicators have been converted to LED bulbs and switch relay, which work better for modern driving conditions. However, the original bulbs and winker relay is included, should you wish to switch back.
High / Low gearbox.
It's a rare factory blue colour, as it was one of a number that was supplied to the Washington DC Police Department.
The reason for sale is that, due to health and other reasons, I've just not been using it.
The bike is Tax and MOT except. Located in south Cheshire, 2 miles from M6 junction 16.
Inspection welcome. As mentioned above, it is believed to be one of around a hundred that Honda supplied to the Washington DC Police Department, who used them to patrol the parks and rivers and general duties. This bike was number 45 in their fleet.
Getty Images have a number of photos showing them being used at demonstrations. Unfortunately I haven't a picture of this actual bike but tantalisingly there are ones showing number 44 :/
