Low mileage 1981 TR7 2. 0 DHC (5 speed manual). Has just over 64000 miles on the clock (with history) and has covered a little under 100 miles in the last 15 years. Just undergone a chunk of work to get it in a good usable condition again:
- New Seatbelts
- New seat diaphragms
- Doors stripped and rebuilt with fresh weather strips
- Running 15" (MGF) wheels with fresh nuts and Toyo 185/ 55 tyres
- Axle stripped, painted and rebuilt - new bearings and rear brakes with fresh oil and gasket
- New rear brake hard lines
- Braided flexis for clutch and brakes
- New rear suspension
- Rear end fully poly bushed
- New fuel sender
- New hard fuel line and ethanol friendly R9 rubber piping with a new filter
- Rebuilt brake master cylinder
- New clutch master cylinder
- Spin on oil filter conversion
- Engine has fresh oil and filter
- Brake fluid has been flushed
- Electrical gremlins tackled plus a new fuel gauge, fresh (blade) fuse box and relays
- New battery
- Chassis has been internally cleaned, rust treated and waxed
- New track rod ends
- External surfaces underneath have been treated with rust neutraliser, seam sealed and then painted
As well as numerous smaller jobs along the way, all hardware has been replaced, threads recut and copper-slipped on assembly.

- There is an assortment of spares and consumables - including new and unused ball joints, front dampers and front suspension poly bushes
- History file supporting a genuine ~64k

- Front brakes run green stuff pads and dimpled/ grooved discs with braided hoses

The car runs with no drama - the engine is strong and keeps up with modern traffic, idles well, doesn't overheat and changes gear smoothly.
Reason for sale is lack of time, now fully committed to a house renovation and have no time available to work on this any longer.
The V5 is in my name and is registered as historic (tax and MOT exempt) and the car is located in Cheshire, CW2.
