MAZDA MX5 [EUNOS ROADSTER] S-SPECIAL
This car is in exceptionally original and totally rust-free condition.
the chassis, sills and wheel arches are pristine and all the factory spot welds are visible. the car has never had any welding. The car is an S-Special model which was imported from Japan in 2006. The S-Spec model is a sportier version of the MX5, extras include Mazdaspeed adjustable engine compartment strut brace, lightened flywheel, Torsen limited-slip differential, Bilstein shock absorbers, BBS alloy wheels, stainless steel kick plates and rear spoiler.
The car was dry stored for 6 years from 2015. It was recommissioned by well known specialist MX5City in 2001/ 2. This included replacing the timing belt and water pump, all new brake callipers and brake discs, suspension components, bushes etc. The vehicle has only done about 2250 miles in my 3 years of ownership. A mohair hood with heated window was fitted by the previous owner which remains in excellent condition.
the paint is pristine apart from one small area of rubbing on the nearside wing mirror.
The dealer provided a full hot injection wax corrosion protection treatment prior to sale to me. I have never driven it in the rain or on salted roads. It is always garaged.
The driver's side mat could do with replacing and there is a fault with the glove box but it still shuts securely. The near side door only locks/ unlocks from the inside. In my ownership it has had a yearly oil change and service as necessary.
