Description
This Land Rover 110, originally built in 1988, has been painstakingly restored over hundreds of hours, from the ground up, utilising the skills of the finest Land Rover specialists in the UK, to the highest of standards. All components have been replaced or restored with high quality products. Attention to detail at every stage of the build has been the strictest of priorities, resulting in what is essentially a new vehicle with an unparalleled modern specification
The vehicle has 500 miles on the clock since the rebuild and importantly has the original engine and chassis and therefore all the numbers match if someone wanted to export the vehicle to the US. Also, in 4 years the vehicle is exempt from car tax and London ULEZ charges.
I have uploaded a vehicle walkaround video on Youtube so you can see the level of craftmanship - search for the account KylieTheOneTen

Conclusion
I have tried to include much of the work that has been done but it is impossible to cover everything and I hope that from the photos and description you can see the spec is unparalleled. Anything obvious that I’ve missed assume it has been replaced with new or reconditioned.
To give you a sense of the level of investment gone into the vehicle, if you were to try to replicate this restoration you would need to spend in excess of £100, 000 and that doesn’t include the time spent researching and sourcing the very best products that exist on the market.
I hope you like it as there really isn’t another one like it anywhere on the planet. I bought this Land Rover from John Brown 4x4 on 31st October 2011 as we were snowed in the previous year and we needed something to get us out of our village when it happened again.
A lot of the background to the car is irrelevant because it is ostensibly a new vehicle but if you are interested, this is what I know.
The previous owner bought it on 28th February 2006 and he only used it irregularly between April and October as he owned a hot air ballooning business and it was used to tow a trailer and ferry customers around. It was kept in a Dutch barn throughout and as it was the lifeline of his business he maintained it to a high standard. Beforehand it was owned by a Roman Catholic college in Kempton Park and was again well maintained.
The vehicle is a Land Rover 110 (precursor to the Defender 110 but only those with a trained eye can spot the difference) and it was built in 1988. Under the bonnet is the Rover 3. 5 litre petrol V8 which differentiates it from the majority of the diesel offerings out there. The 110s out there that have their original V8 engine still intact are vanishingly small making this vehicle increasingly desirable in the market.
Since owning the vehicle, I have done minimal mileage in her whilst continuing to maintain her to an extremely high standard, whilst housing her in a garage throughout. In 2018 I decided to embark on a thorough and meticulous nut and bolt restoration. The objective was to retain much of the original vehicle’s character whilst modernising her and making her a more comfortable and luxurious vehicle.
Having studied Land Rovers over the last 10 years, I am extremely confident when I say you will not find a better-quality vehicle in the market at this price point. Everything has been completed to an extremely high spec and every component that has been replaced has been changed to a high-quality item. The work goes far and beyond what anyone would expect from a restoration. This is not a truck that has had a bit of a respray and a few nice bits stuck on it. It has been rebuilt from the ground up and the attention to detail at every stage of the build has been the highest of priorities, resulting in what is essentially a new vehicle.
Included in the sale is an Instagram account that has over 1, 000 followers. I set it up to document the restoration but never kept up to date with it. I have many photographs of the work as it progressed which I will also happily include so the new owner, (if that’s their thing) can update the Instagram account.
