Description
The time has come to sell my lovely 1995 Jaguar XJ6 3. 2 X300 finished in kingfisher blue metallic paint with cream leather and walnut interior. I’ve had the car just over 1 year and loved every moment.
Exterior:
Outside the car is in great condition for the age and mileage and is finished nicely with a gold pin strip down the side and upgraded Daimler wheels. All the stainless steel brightwork is in great condition. There’s minimal dents/ marks down the sides (see photos) as this car was primarily used for sunny weekend trips and was garaged majority of its life. Please do expect the odd blemish and mark and scratch as this is still 30 years old but shows its age lovely. This could be easily taken to the next level of concours or shows however as this was my second car I chose to enjoy the car as is.
Interior:
The interior is in fantastic condition and shows how well the car has been treated over the years. In 2016 the car had a new headliner all documented in the vast service history. The car also comes with all the rare accessories including: Jaguar coat hanger, H. R Owen detailing kit, Jaguar first aid kit, Jaguar umbrella holder, upgraded Daimler lambs wool mats, very rare Jaguar luggage and H. R Owen road atlas. Everything works including electric windows, the climate control panel etc. The A/ C is cool but not cold, however the previous owner had the whole A/ C system replaced so would indicate a re gas would be required. As you can see from the photos the interior really is in great condition for a X300 unlike some examples.
Service history:
The car has full service history with a fully stamped book along with the original H. R Owen owners book and pack. There’s also an extensive file with every receipt from wiper blades to brakes etc. The previous owner who like me was very particular on maintenance and had spent a small fortune on getting the car mechanically in top condition from: new steering rack and pipes, gearbox services, crank sensor, 4 new tyres, new headlining etc. There’s too much history to list but can give more information if required. I’ve completed 2 services since I’ve owned the car including a fresh 12 months MOT and service for the new owner. I’ve also had replaced 6 new coils packs and plugs. Including in the sale is a few spares for the car that’s been acquired.
All documents and keys are present including 2 keys and fobs with original H. R Owen key rings
Overall the car is in really good condition for the year which is rare as so many X300s have now fallen into disrepair or are advertised as projects. I truly am going to miss this car however other commitments have taken hold and the car isn’t getting the use it deserves.
