Citroen CX 2400 Super “Familiale”
Born in the 1970s as the French marque’s flagship model, replacing the legendary DS, the CX enjoyed enormous commercial success thanks to its aerodynamic characteristics, interior comfort and reliability.
Version with a long wheelbase to increase rear passenger comfort, named “Familiale” and produced by Citroën in 1980 for only 1 year, homologated for 8 seats and, due to the tow hitch, reduced to one seat.
The bodywork and the floors are perfectly sound and still present in impeccable original condition.
The cosy fabric-upholstered interior and the dashboard plastics and door trims are completely original and preserved in exemplary condition, with only a light crack on the upper finish on the driver’s side.
All the onboard electronic instrumentation is perfectly functional and the hydro-pneumatic suspension mechanics work wonderfully.
Splendidly preserved to date in its original configuration, with a Nevada White body and chocolate-coloured interior in perfect condition.
The Citroën equipment is complete, the original chrome roof rack is available and the auxiliary dashboard add-on which, for travel convenience, has currently been removed.
Italian car with period registration plate, very reliable and ready to set off for long trips and new adventures.
