Description
Citroen CX 2400 Super 'Familiale' Created in the 1970s as the French manufacturer's flagship model to replace the legendary DS, the CX was a huge commercial success due to its aerodynamic characteristics, roominess and reliability.
A long wheelbase version to increase comfort for rear passengers, it was named 'Familiale' and produced by Citroen in 1980 for one year only, homologated as an eight-seater and reduced by one seat due to the tow bar. The bodywork and underbody were perfectly sound and still in impeccable original condition.
The cosy fabric-covered interior and the plastics on the dashboard and door panels are completely original and preserved in an exemplary manner, only a slight crack on the upper finish on the driver's side.
All electronic on-board instrumentation is fully functional and the mechanics of the hydro-pneumatic suspension run like clockwork. Beautifully preserved to this day in its original conformation, Nevada white bodywork and chocolate-coloured interior in perfect condition. The Citroen equipment is complete, the original chrome luggage rack is available and the additional auxiliary dashboard, which for convenience of travel has now been removed. Italian car with period number plate, very reliable and ready to go on long trips and new adventures.
