I have sadly decided that my series one gti turbo needs work that i don't have the facilities to do
The sunroof panel needs replacing it has corrosion in places around the car the 2 places are the passenger floor panel passenger wing bottom front I have checked the sills which I thought needed doing but don't the door cards warped which you could straighten and fibreglass resin the back of them the rear quarter panel drivers side has been welded at the top just needs painting the seats could do with repair it also has a leaking rear suspension cylinder boot the return pipe outlet is split i have replaced the passenger side front and have a replacement for the drivers side it has had all 4 spheres replaced and the accumulator sphere it starts and drives it comes with a replacement centre silencer that has rust on it but is solid the clutch feels heavy to me but goes into gear fine included in the sale is a brand new valeo clutch kit car is located in Crewkerne somerset

The car has since had the front wing attended too and it is having the floorpan and jacking point professionaly welded this coming Sunday the 9th of August
So in view of this the price of the car will be increased to £4000
The new revised price reflects only a percentage of the work carried out to the car since buying it for £3300 back in June
The car and classic valuation for this car in the worst condition is around £5500 I have taken this into account as well as its
I may also remove the car from sale if the the welder fabricator can rectify the roof at a reasonable price.

The welding has been done now see pictures the car will come on a set of alfa 146 black alloy wheels the original trx wheels are still available they have lots of tread but are perished so not fit for road use.
However i am still interested in a swap with a pre 1985 bx a gs/ gsa a cx without a sunroof or any other hydraulic citroen pre 2000
The only thing I will keep will be the radio I bought for it I have the original Philips radio cassette that came out of it
