Description
An incredibly rare opportunity to purchase this original UK specification, right hand drive Fiat 124 Sport Coupe. One family owned from new plus one further keeper it’s credible 46, 000 miles from new is in outstanding condition outside, inside and underneath. No rust or rot it is a true survivor car that was one of the very last off the production line at the end of 1975.
This car has been gone through meticulously making sure it is safe for the road including a complete brake overhaul with new servo booster, master cylinder, all new Cunifer ( copper/ nickel ) brake lines with stainless braided flexible hoses, new discs and pads, new shock absorbers all round not shown in these photos. The Webber 34 DMS carb has been rebuilt feeding the 1800cc twin cam 118hp engine efficiently, but with plenty of power to keep up with modern traffic.
The original magnesium Cromodora Free Style 'Ferrari' alloy wheels have been refurbished and the interior is beautifully presented, rechromed bumpers and rear light frames. The 5 speed gearbox moves slick with a nice click between each gear and the factory Argento Metallizzato silver paint glimmers in the sun. These cars are incredibly rare and have that Italian style that most classic and modern cars just do not have. The equivalent Alfa is touching £40k+, whilst the equivalent stable mate Ferrari is well over the six figure mark when you can have one of these at a fraction of the cost.
