Description
This is a rare genuine original matching numbers Greeves Silverstone and importantly, a 1966 RDS model with the five-speed Albion cam-barrel gearbox.
It has the original GP2 carburettor which is very rare.
The engine has been rebuilt by Greeves specialist in 2019 and refreshed in 2022.
A new NEB clutch has been fitted and uprated main bearings plus transistor ignition.
The bike has both a glassfibre and aluminium fuel tanks.
Wheels have been rebuilt on alloy valanced rims using stainless steel spokes.
This bike is ridden in CRMC Parades and has a CRMC eligibility certificate.
Also registered for road use with Historic (classic) vehicle class. This bike starts and runs reliably and is a joy to ride. Reluctant sale as I’m retiring from riding bikes.
