Description
1961 Triumph Herald 948 Convertible.
Engine runs from a can, however fuel lines from the tank need replacing.
Brakes and clutch operate and I believe the car could legally return to the road with minimal work. The chassis and structure is very solid with much work having been done to the floors. External bodywork is scruffy as you can see from the photos. The hood needs replacement and some repairs to the frame.
Original Targo Purple paint is visible on the bulkhead and boot floor.
Unexpectedly for sale due to divorce. I understand the car was in the ownership of one family for many years, however it had changed hands shortly before I bought it.
The 948 Convertible is a rare Herald variant with only a handful known to be on the road in the UK.
