1970 panel van, with rock n roll bed. Brought as a rolling shell & restored in 2020. Rebuilt 1641 with twin IDF carbs. Vintage speed sport exhaust. Rebuilt gearbox by John Walkett. Steering box reconditioned by Schofields. Refurbed fuel tank and complete new fuel lines. 2” transporterhaus narrowed adjustable beam. CSP discs up front & rebuilt rears with complete new brake lines. Moderately lowered on transporterhaus adjustable spring plates. New shocks. Repro sprintstars. Underside fully protected and cavity waxed. Fully rewired with new loom. New battery. New fuel sender. Leisure battery in rear with internal leds to van interior & engine bay, 12v sockets and usb ports. Fully reupholstered seating and door cards & panels. Fully insulated and sound deadened. MCJ custom steering wheel. Has the benefit of tacho plus oil temp & pressure gauges. Full fire suppression system and solenoid cut off.
All mechanical, electrical and brake system work during rebuild carried out by VW Aircooled Works.
