1972 TVR Vixen Race car.
Well known hillclimb and sprint car in the South West of England, last raced at Portreath in April this year.
Prior to being raced here it was an ex John Lloyd car in France.
2000 fuel injected Zetec engine producing 185-200 Bhp on Emerald ECU. Runs in B3 Class. Close ratio Ford 2000E box and Subaru Impreza lsd diff. Burton on off clutch. AVOS all round and on new 888rs at the rear this year. The car is road registered tax and MOT free in the UK, however it is not advised to drive on the road in this state of tune and set up. Straight forward to convert back to road set up. Full race cage with side bars. Side bars not currently fitted but easy to refit.
Being sold now as I am reducing my collection as I am getting too old to drive competitively. Very lively and successful car in the right hands and enormous fun. £30000 or best offer.. Raced in France prior to my ownership. I had the chassis straightened and new rear uprights fitted after an off whilst it was in France. New front calipers fitted this season with green stuff and Questmead rear compound shoes. Full roll cage with front and side bars. Side bars not currently fitted but easily put back.
