The M100 has been a brilliant car since I recommissioned it last summer and I’ve taken it all over Scotland. As above plenty of work to get back onto the road, though the previous owner (of 23 years) had installed a new from Isuzu engine that had only done 300 miles before the car went off the road. I don’t have the paperwork from this but it looks correct and the as new condition of the parts when I changed the cambelt would back this up.
Car’s paint is pretty good but there are a few stone chips at the front and a small area of lacquer peel on the bonnet. The hood and window rubbers keep out water but don’t look great. The hood is ok, but does have a tear in it which is sealed with a waterproof tape currently. The interior is fine but the seats and inserts look a bit tired.
All in all a low owner, ready for the summer car that can be improved cosmetically or enjoyed as it is.
Please note I will retain the number plate, new registration J94 KKK. The car has a stamped history from new up to 75, 000 miles, with 4 previous owners on the V5. There are bundles of receipts and MOTs including all the recent work completed. I bought the car as a Lotus enthusiast who wanted the car back on the road. It now drives brilliantly and has been my favourite recommission. It is time to move it on for the next owner to enjoy as much as I have.
