Reluctant sale of my 1972 Land Rover Series III, after 10 years of much loved ownership due to a change in circumstances. It's been garaged the whole time I have owned it.
It has a fully galvanised chassis, as well as over £4000 amount of work completed in the last 2 years alone, including the following:
New exhaust
New gearbox
New clutch
All engine seals replaced
All tires recently replaced
It has averaged less than 500 miles a year since I owned it, nice and reliable, runs well.
Tax and MOT exempt, heated screen, overdrive, all seats good as new, no rips or tears, adjustable tow bar, original Series III wheels
I have all the paperwork, including receipts of all work completedI have owned this for nostalgia and its only ever been used for short local runs in good weather. Its a joy to drive and I regularly get comments about its appearance when I am out and about.
