Land Rover Series 3, 2 1/ 4 Petrol. Rebuilt to 90% completion by the previous owner who sadly was unable to finish. I completed over the summer and have run for 144 miles.
Fairey Overdrive.
All cappings re galvanised.
New wheels and tyres.
New exhaust.
New hood frame.
New canvas hood.
New defender type anti burst door locks.
New seats.
New wiring.
New professional bronze green paintwork.
New springs.
New shock absorbers.
You will see that she is in great condition and ready for some summer fun days out. Originally supplied to the RAF but in civilian specification and used on the air base in Cyprus. I even have a picture of the original batch of 10 or so vehicles she was delivered with. Originally fitted with a dished bonnet for the spare wheel which I have and can include in the sale. As mentioned the previous owner was unable to finish her, but I have to say when I saw the pictures with all the new stainless nuts and bolts etc I knew it had been done to a very high standard.
