Description
The Austin 7's the Gordon England 'Brooklands' Super Sports has to me is the most handsome of all the sporting Austin 7's. This 1929 car was built by the world renown expert on Gordon Englands Tom Abernethy in 2020/ 2021, it is the 11th car produced by him. It is in perfect order with restored chassis and mechanical components.
The engine was built by Ruairidh Dunford of Alba Austins with a Phoenix splash-fed crank, larger valves and high lift cam, original low comp head which has been skimmed. Certainly it is no slouch and great fun on the road or for competition.
I have just had the car checked over by SMH Services LTD (Steve Hodgson) and the motorcar is in perfect condition.
I am only selling as other projects beckon. The Flying Conker as it known with hand painted script on the front cowling is an exceptional and very rare Austin 7.
