Built in Paris in 1980. I am the fourth owner. The first owner lived in France. The second owner, the nephew of the first owner brought the car to the UK in 2011. The same year it was restored with a new galvanised chassis, new floors and panels. Total invoice £4715. In 2021 the third owner bought the 2CV but didn't use it as much as he had anticipated so he sold it to me in August 2022. During my ownership the car has been maintained by a 2CV specialist. In February 2023 it had an MOT and service and the gearbox was rebuilt with a new clutch and rear brake cylinders. In June 2024 it had an MOT and service and two new rear wheels. I have records of other work done dating back to 2013 again by a 2CV specialist. I bought the 2CV because I had a Citroen Dyane many years ago and I love the style and engineering of these quirky cars. The 2CV looks stunning and is always admired when I am out and about. I have thoroughly enjoyed driving it around the country lanes for the past three years but now need to sell it in order to make room for a car that I am buying from my sister. I have a photo of the car with it's original number plate. The 2CV is LHD and the speedometer is in kilometres.
