This right hand drive Dodge standard six Tourer has just had £11, 000 spent on a professional engine rebuild including new white metal bearings.
A complete clutch overhaul .
Also new kingpins and track rod ends.
The hood and Tonneau are also as new. All invoices with history file
Much other work with rewound starter motor and Dynamo.
New radiator core,
It was imported from Australia in 2010 and owned by an engineer who oversaw the work. All duties paid.
These cars were favored by the Australians due to their excellent reliability and powerful engines. The Tourer body is factory original.
The car is very original and hardly any rust.
Being 1928 it is a proper vintage car and as such eligable for many VSCC events.
She starts up straight away and drives well with powerful brakes.
I have the front bumper however it is not fitted at present.
The wooden spoked wheels are in good sound condition and interesting features like the wooden steering wheel and folding windscreen.
I have also a large 1920s folding luggage rack and very large trunk from a 1928 Cadillac which can go with the car.
I am only selling the Dodge as I have accumulated too many cars and have some unfinished projects and in my seventies so not as much go in me.
