This delightful Lupo 1. 4 S Automatic was supplied new in March 2003 by Loders Volkswagen in Dorchester, finished in Soft Blue with grey upholstery. The S model was equipped with PAS, electric front windows, central locking and opening rear 1/ 4 windows.
It was kept locally in Dorset until June 2013 where the car moved to Hampshire and has been kept safely garaged by two family members since.
Used very sparingly up until recently as the owner has had to retire from driving due to poor health. It has been well maintained and in March last year last year the cambelt, tensioners and water pump were replaced. The mileage being 41, 674 miles.
It has just recently been through its latest MOT and subsequently the 3 advisories have been attended to, namely, both anti roll linkages replaced and an oil pressure switch replaced. Additionally a service has been conducted.
As you can see from the pictures I have taken, the car is in exceptional condition and shouldn’t be confused with a run of the mill example. It still retains its original VW carpet mats in perfect condition.
The mileage is only 41, 878 miles and it really is as good as a car a third of its age and easy to maintain being relatively analogue and simple. It has bags of retro character and always receives compliments, people love the colour. It's also ULEZ exempt which is an added bonus.
It's a 4 speed auto, the listing stating 3 speed is incorrect.
