BMW R100RS, 1987. A very desirable and venerable old timer with only 3 owners from new and a genuine 93, 000 miles - in time related condition!
The r100rs rides really nicely, handles extremely well for an old girl and has a surprising turn of speed. But it's just one bike too many for me now so it's time to say farewell.
Mot'd and taxed, last used to do the Guildford distinguished gentleman's ride... Which it did with aplomb.
It's had a new battery, new spark plugs, fresh oil, top and bottom rear shock bearings, matching Pirelli tyres front and rear, new rear silencer.
A few spares available as well as service books, manuals and a really interesting heap of old documents, bills and provenance for the last 30 years. BMW panniers included, as will be the original handlebars and cover.
It's a well used old bike with plenty of marks and signs of wear and tear but I see no reason why it couldn't go on for another 30+ years.
Probably cheapest in the UK.
