OVERVIEW
Launched in the late 1970s, the BMW R100RS redefined the touring motorcycle. Designed by Hans Muth, its revolutionary wind-tunnel-tested nine-piece fairing was the first of its kind and enabled sustained 100mph cruising, transforming long-distance riding. Four decades later, the R100RS remains one of the most accomplished and respected tourers of its era.

CONDITION

Alloy rims, stainless spokes, and well-preserved gaiters further underline its careful upkeep.
Mechanically, the 980cc flat twin remains a robust, unstressed unit, noted for its reliability and long-distance capability. The braking assemblies, forks, and wheels show light weathering but no concern. The bike has been regularly garaged and dry stored.
