Description
1959 Triton | Norton Wideline Featherbed Frame | Triumph Trident 750cc Engine
This is a lovely example of a Triton, owned for a couple of years by my father who never got the chance to use it. Now I must sell his old bikes, and unfortunately let this one go too.
I have spoken to the previous owner, who installed “a modern swinging arm, reworked the rear end with a manx seat etc, modified oil tank to take standard air filters, indicators, and some engine mods, new carbs jets etc” and added that the previous owner “fitted a Trispark electronic ignition to the engine”
The bike starts very nicely, selects all gears well, and sounds and looks great.

Feel free to get in touch if you want to come and view it. The Triton café racer is a legendary home-built motorcycle born from the golden era of 1960s British motorcycling, where riders combined the razor-sharp handling of the Norton Featherbed "wideline" frame with the powerful, tuneable Triumph engine to create the ultimate performance bike. Built by enthusiasts who refused to compromise, the Triton wasn't just a machine—it was a bold statement of speed, style, and rebellion. Today, owning a Triton means riding a piece of motorcycling history, handcrafted for those who demand both form and function.
