Ford Capri X-Pack 2. 9 24v Cosworth “UFO jeans”
Originally built into as a race car in the mid 2000’s. Although not much history of the build is known, the Cosworth V6 engine install, and the fuel system have been built to a very high standard.
In our ownership, we’ve painted it in the UFO jeans colour scheme, which is a continuation in MK3 form to the Group 2 Ford Capri UFO jeans evocation in those colours, which we originally built back in 2009.

Emerald ECU with custom engine wiring loom. JBW 8x15 Gold Minilites. Fiberglass Front Spoiler, Bonnet and Tailgate. Bronze tinted polycarbonate windows. Simpson Stainless Tubular Exhaust Manifolds, plus Simpson made twin exit stainless exhaust system. Ford MT75 5 Speed Gearbox, Pedal Box with Adjustable Brake Bias, Hydraulic Clutch Conversion. Safety Devices Roll Cage. ATL Fuel Cell, Swirl Pot, High Pressure & Lift Pumps.
Rear : Group 4 Rose Jointed GAZ MONO Coilovers, Wide CD8 Leaf Springs, Twin Taper Fully Floating Atlas ZF Motorsport LSD, 2. 8i Rear Anti Roll Bar
Front: GAZ MONO Adjustable Coilovers Anti Dive, Adjustable Rose Joint Top Mounts, Tension Strut Conversion, Adjustable Rose Joint Track Control Arms, 2. 8i Anti Roll Bar. Hi-Spec 4 Pot Brake Calipers, Big Bells & Rotors and Alloy Hubs.
This Ford Capri would be eligible to race in most classic modified race series, such as BOSS (Blue Oval Saloon Series) and Classic & Historic Thunder Saloons within the CTCRC.
This can also be supplied as a road legal mot & tax free road car, for those wishing to use the car on the road.
