Caribbean blue exterior – some imperfections reflecting age & mileage, but overall excellent condition. Colour really ‘pops’ in the sunshine, but could be further improved with some paint correction & ceramic coating, if you want it to look even better & stay that way for longer.
T-top glass roof panels, store behind seats when not in use. T-top sun shades & T-top storage bags also included.
Black leather interior – again in excellent condition, particularly considering the mileage. No rips or tears. Previously worn driver’s seat bolster just been professionally reupholstered.
Original radio, cassette & CD player. Radio & cassette fully working, CD intermittent. Electric aerial fully working – new mast fitted.
Electric windows & mirrors all in full working order.
3 original Toyota keys, 2 original immobiliser fobs, remote central locking fully working.
New ‘Anniversary’ floor mats.
Power steering.
Complete tool kit.
Standard space saver spare wheel.

Part service history.
Just been refreshed:
- Minor welding completed in the usual places (arch repairs, sill ends, rear pockets) – all completed & should be ready to see the new owner through a good few years to come without bodywork being needed
- New cambelt & tensioner just fitted - driven over 300 trouble-free miles since.
- Oil pump seal replaced – now no leaks.
- Serviced - New Toyota coolant, Toyota oil, Denso plugs, distributor cap, rotor arm, HT leads, coil, air filter & oil filter.
- New brake pads & discs all round.
- Wheels refurbished in original Anniversary anthracite grey.
- Driver’s seat bolster reupholstered - now no rips or tears.
- Aerial mast replaced - now fully working.

- 173k miles, which is common for these Toyota engines especially when well maintained annually as this one has been. Driven nearly 1, 000 trouble-free miles in the last 6 weeks. Runs perfectly, but mileage is reflected in the price. On the plus side, you get a special Toyota Bronze “Six times around the world … and still going” sticker – you’ll have to wait for 200k & 300k miles to earn your Silver & Gold, which just shows their faith in these engines!
- This is unashamedly not a concours car for a trophy-seeking collector. It’s a simple good looking, great condition, original, limited edition, used & useable car - to enjoy without worrying about, or continue to improve as you wish. Turns heads wherever it goes – you will never fill up with petrol in peace again!
- Selling as only bought it to undertake the refreshment work detailed above & save it from being taken off the road. We already have a number of other MR2s and sadly can’t keep them all. Or so I’m told :-(
