1970 Morris Minor Traveller. Restored in the very recent past by the previous two owners, which included a complete body off restoration from the drivers area going back to the rear. It is a restored shell, with new floors, wings, door bottoms, etc.
Udated and modified, in order to keep up with modern traffic, and to handle better than the original. The engine is from a 1275 MG Midget, and is rebored to 1300cc with an unleaded head. Cooling is aided by an electric fan. The gearbox is a rebuilt Ford 'type 9' 5 speed. Front, and rear axles are Morris Marina sourced. Breaks are servo assisted discs up front drums to rear. Suspension is all poly bushed, with adjustable dampers all round. Radius arms to the rear, and anti roll bar to the front. The body colour is a modern pearlescent green. The wheels, with excellent tyres, are from an MGF.
Other improvments, include very efficient LED lights , 2 Speed wiper, modern seating, carpets, AM/ FM CD radio , etc.
Historic vehicle tax exempt and MOT exempt.
It does have an MOT in the interests of safety, this runs until 8th April 2026.
The original 1098 engine is available, if wanted, together with a set of Marina steel wheels with tyres, plus the original front radiator grill.
