I purchased this car in 2021 from its first and only owner as I had one new back in 2003 and loved it, only selling that car to move into a DC2. The mileage currently stands at 109, 054.
This is the 30th Anniversary edition of the Type R limited to 300 cars across the three colours. Additional features above the standard car are:
Recaro Trendline front seats in red, red carpet and matching door inserts

This car also came with the optional JDM red floor mats from new
I have a massive folder of history with the car, consisting of all service history, all old MOT certificates, various invoices for parts purchased and the original order form for the car. All services have been carried out at Honda dealerships aside from the last, which was with Performance Autoworks, a Honda specialist who have looked after my DC2 for years. As nice it would have been to keep the service history all Honda, I didn't feel the dealerships have the knowledge for these older cars now.

Since purchasing the car, I have replaced some parts with OEM Honda items. In February 2022 I had a new back box and centre pipe fitted, along with a set of front calipers in April 2024. The calipers are the Premier items with the Type R logo though, rather than the plain pre facelift version.
Condition wise, the car is pretty good for its age, with a few marks here and there that have been picked up over the years. These mainly consist of marks to the paint on the bumpers and skirts from going in and out of the previous owners garage. There is also a scuff on the rear bumper which I have photographed specifically. The wheels are presentable but there is some kerbing to the rims.
With regard to the corrosion that plagues Hondas of a certain age, this car is no exception but easily rectified. There is some corrosion to the rear arch lips, more so bottom edge and top where the bumper mounts. I've photographed these areas for reference. The sills have also had a few patches for the last two MOT tests. I had planned to purchase entire sill sections and, in time, restore the underside of the vehicle but I've decided to focus on the DC2 now. I have removed the rear speakers for viewing the inside of both rear quarters and can send photos of these area upon request.
It is a regrettable sale but I have a few too many vehicles at present. This car would make an ideal candidate for a mini restoration to get it looking perfect. As the low owners, service history and the fact it's already a limited run car, make it stand out among most of the others out there.
