Description
Triumph TR6 CP 150bhp version UK car with overdrive. Restored from bare chassis up and a bare metal respray in Signal Red. A mass of new parts fitted during rebuild including brakes, exhaust, fuel pump, metering unit and radiator and much more. Fitted with Mohair top and leather MX5 seats but the price includes an original hard top and the seats.
The car is standard except the seats and hood mentioned although it is polybushed throughout and the fuel pump is a new Bosch unit with matching Pressure valve. It runs very well but only 100 miles or so since rebuild.
The car is extremely clean and neat but I have left a few easily changed cosmetic areas where a new owner can make their own mark without hard work underneath for example bumper chrome, excess play in one window winder and similar little things.
I had intended to keep the car that I have had since 2017 after I recovered it from long term indoor storage but I found an Austin Healey 3000.
Included are Manuals and Parts List. I bought it originally because it was very original and complete, it had been stored in a garage since 1989 and I knew it would need starting from a bare frame rebuild . I had great fun doing the work knowing that I had left no nasty body filler or rust anywhere. I was surprised how good spares cover was and how information on problems was easily found.
This is the correct CP 150bhp version with hardtop included and is a very honest car that is clean underneath and on top. Any buyer is welcome to do any sensible inspection.
