For sale, my late father's Platinum S-Type Jaguar, with rare manual transmission, that he owned from new. Ordered from Gatwick Jaguar in January 2000, and delivered in March that year. Gatwick Jaguar (now Harwoods Crawley) also serviced the car annually, with a full set of stamps from them in the service book from 2001 - 2015, and regular work carried out by them after this time too. Car has always been garaged. A full folder of paperwork accompanies the car, including the original invoice, plus complete set of vehicle manuals and handbooks in tan leather Jaguar wallet and 2 sets of keys.
Cherished number plate, valued at £500, will stay with the car and is included in the sale.
Serviced and MOT'd in October 2024 after 5 years off-road. Current MOT until October 2025, mileage may increase as we are using the car occasionally.
The car is in excellent overall condition, both inside and out, with some minor marks in keeping with the age of the car:
• Externally, there is damage to the offside door mirror cover, but not affecting mirror operation, and a slight scuff on the end of the nearside mirror cover too. Other minor marks are mostly to the nearside front bumper, plus a small dent, not breaking the paint, to the drivers door.
• All five 7-spoke Jaguar alloys are in great condition, with a mix of Pirelli Cinturato and P6000 tyres.
• Headlamps are clear and cloud-free.
• Internally, the car has never been smoked in and cloth seats are clean and unmarked, with no signs of wear.
• Leather door and dash trim is also undamaged, some slight wear to leather gear knob and leather steering wheel.
• Very little fading to wooden dash and door veneer capping.
• Climate control working, but not ice cold.
• Original Radio / Cassette in fully tested & working condition - radio code present.

Taken off the road after my father's death in 2020, we got the car back motoring last Autumn, and have enjoyed some smooth and extremely quiet trips out on the motorway. For a 25 year old car it's a really comfortable and enjoyable drive, tight and responsive and with plenty of V6 power would make an excellent daily driver or grand tourer!
