Simply magnificent: a V8 in an S-Type, especially with a supercharger backing it up. Jaguar aptly calls this "Supercharged." We sourced this particular specimen in Spain and have since registered it on Dutch plates.
Condition of the Car
The bodywork is beautiful and, above all, incredibly straight. The headlights are crystal clear, the wheels are virtually undamaged all around, and the paintwork retains a stunning deep gloss. The interior is truly, remarkably tidy—but then again, that’s exactly what you’d expect given the exceptionally low mileage.
The Driving Experience
It’s a joy to have 400 hp under your right foot. You feel immediately that you’re dealing with a very serious machine. Everything has been tuned for spirited driving, starting with the slightly firmer sports suspension, the supportive sport seats, and, of course, that beast of a V8 engine.
This is arguably the best "value for money" car on the market right now. There are very few sports cars available in this price range that offer this much horsepower and torque. This example drives, brakes, and runs fantastically. It’s a wonderful Jaguar for many more miles of fun—or perhaps one to tuck away and enjoy sparingly as a future classic.
Maintenance & History
This Jaguar was meticulously maintained in Spain. Both the service booklet and the Carfax report confirm the consistently low mileage. We have also treated the car to an extensive major service.
During our inspection, we discovered that the notorious "coolant hose" located under the supercharger was leaking. I can tell you, that’s quite a few hours of labor to get to, but it means you won't have to worry about it!
