The Liquid Silver Pearl finish is still resplendent plus the underside and suspension are remarkably well preserved as the car has spent its entire life on roads that are free of road salt during the winter months.
The chrome mesh grille is in excellent condition as is the rest of the bright work. The Xenon headlamps are undamaged and feature a power wash to keep them clean in adverse weather conditions.
The car's elegant and graceful design is further accentuated by the 20-inch, five-spoke Callisto alloy wheels adding to the Sovereign's domineering stance. There are no chips, scrapes or other kerbing marks to distract the eye.
All four brake calipers underwent a complete refurbishment including being aqua blasted, powder coated, sprayed and new Jaguar decals applied. This work, along with a four-stage machine polish, was completed on Thursday 31 July 2025.
The interior is in astonishingly good condition too with an ice-cold, four-zone climate control system, electrically operated front seats, steering wheel and pedals, door mirrors and windows.
With this Sovereign being a Long Wheel Base model, whoever sits in the rear cabin will enjoy picnic tables, an electric rear sunblind, heated seats, manually operated blinds for the side windows plus controls for the air-conditioning and entertainments system.
They'll also luxuriate in the butter-soft ruched Barley leather that's piped with a coffee-coloured trim that matches the seatbelts. What isn't covered with the fine hide is trimmed with wood veneer. All the carpets are excellent with no visible wear due to the presence of deep-pile lamb's wool mats.
An oil, lubricants, brake and filter service plus a four-stage machine polish were recently carried out resulting in a car that's virtually every millimetre as good now as it was when it rolled off the production line in February 2007.
There are two keys, a UK version Jaguar wallet and book pack and a V5C registered in my name.
