This car has genuinely done only 26, 667 miles from new. I bought it as an MOT failure in April 2008 from the lady who had carefully owned it since new. It has the 2 original keys. It has sat in my shed for 17 years untouched until last week. I took it out of the shed and washed it and it started 2nd turn of the key on the original petrol still in the tank, and runs smoothly. The interior is immaculate with no tears, stains or marks on the seats or carpets. Ash trays have never been used. There is no damp in boot or carpets.
All lights and electrics work (except battery).
Service book shows full service history up to 21, 470 miles. Original handbook and delivery note included together with V5. It's only done 49 miles in my ownership.
Failed MOT in March 2008.
Work required includes new battery, 2 wing mirrors, near side front suspension arm rubber bush, rear exhaust box, rear cill, repair/ replace both side cills, rust extending slightly into wheel arches. Small dent in front nearside door which has rusted. Rusty patch on boot lid.
Radio needs resetting due to flat battery. Code and audio manual included.
General paint condition is good, not dull but occasional small rust spots.
Other than damage already mentioned on passenger door, door edges and reveals are clean and rust free.
Tidy and no significant rust under bonnet. Genuine very low mileage and effectively only 1 owner/ user. All parts required for restoration are easily available and inexpensive which together with the immaculate interior means this car could be brought back to first class condition, with very little time or expense, to love and enjoy for many years.
