Description
Reluctant sale of our Mercedes 260e which has been in the family for over 30 years. Features the legendary straight 6 engine. I believe it had a replacement bootlid in the late 1980's hence the missing 260e badge . Used daily until the mid 2000s then stored in the garage (had been replaced by an Alfa Romeo sports car!). I MoT'd it in 2017 and it passed first time only to split a radiator hose as it was leaving the MoT test centre. Trailered home and unfortunately I never got around to fixing it! It's general condition is still good. Blue interior is presentable although will need some attention in places. Now requires a new fuel pump I think as it will turn over but not start recently. Small hole in the passenger side sill at the back and still requires the coolant pipe replacing and a new battery. Tax and MoT exempt next year.
