40k miles from rebuild. “New” Ivor Searle engine installed at this time.
Stainless exhaust, overdrive, parabolic rear springs with poly bushes, telescopic rear dampers.
4 “Minator” wheels with VERY NEW 185x14 tyres, spare is Rostyle with old unused tyre. 4 Rostyles for refurbishment.
Brakes overhauled 2024 by MGOC. Front with new disks, back plates, calipers (UK) and standard pads. Rear new shoes, adjusters, oil seals. Copper brake lines.
Single 12 volt battery with cut out. Halogen headlights run through relays, LED dash, side and brake lights. Electric windscreen washer (push button). Intermittent windscreen wipers through original switch. Toad alarm with two fobs.
Leather seats and headrests,”Motolite” steering wheel, new dash top, door cappings, door cards. Carpeted boot
2 tonneau covers, 1 full for headrests, 1 half.
Body work is solid with no rust. We have owned this car for 14 years and during this time the car has been totally reliable. She has done many trips in the UK and to the continent for holidays and events (such as Angouleme, Laon, Dolomites rally, 1000 roads rally). Because of this use the paintwork is not “showroom” but is very presentable. We will be very sad to see her go but we feel we are getting too old to enjoy her properly. She is a very nice car to drive, very comfortable on a long journey. Everything is nicely bedded in and unlike a recently finished car her foibles have been ironed out. She is complete and ready to enjoy.
