1968 Triumph TR250 for restoration, complete car with all original parts with it, not messed with and not pillaged, engine is free
I have NOVA and USA Title for easy UK registration, this can be done Immediately you do not have to have an MOT now1968 TR250 for total restoration, recently imported from the USA, 100% complete car, most people know these are basically a TR5 that was detuned to meet the US emission rules in 1968 as most production of Triumph sports cars went to the USA, in rough figures around 2400 genuine TR5's were made and around 8400 TR250's, all 250's were LHD.
The car itself has a solid body tub but will need outer panels as can be seen from the photos, the chassis is good, if I were restoring the car I would completely pull it apart and start from the chassis up, the engine is free and can fairly easily be converted to TR5 spec if required, the gearbox is non overdrive (most of them were) but again could be changed.
TR250's to restore are hard to come by these days and this one represents a cheap opportunity for someone to build one of these excellent sports cars.
