1 registered keeper for the last 47 years. 64, 000 miles genuine with a letter of declaration, purchase invoice & supporting mots present with the car . 3 sets of keys & all books including service book & plastic pouch, original jack , spare wheel cover and chock all present . All tax discs for the time it was on the road. Heater, cigar lighter, glove box light & clock all still function along with everything else as it should. Ashtray, seatbelts & carpets appear as new . The floor pans are in great condition & the seats have had covers for its entire life . The car drives and performs as it should with no known faults .
This is only 64, 000 genuine miles with 2 previous owners plus myself and represents as such . Hard top underside , roof lining and wood is superb. Matching numbers and original keys. With doors that shut & key barrels that still have the spring action when you lock the car . This car appears to have had nothing swapped , nothing changed with nothing missing .
Requiring a degree of refurbishment to the body , chrome & embellishments that you would expect from a 59 year old car. But would still be very presentable with a few repairs & a respray . It appears to have had no panel change & moderate paintwork over its life that is now crazed a little on the hard top & edgy around the arches. nothing being hidden anywhere else. Inside The boot area is in outstanding original condition . This must be the best base car available fit for moderate or major renovation. i recently purchased it from a couple in their eighties. I have a 250 and don't need x2. Please don't expect a visual show stopper because it's not. Front wings & inner wings are not great along with a couple of repairs to the cover sills( these are retained by screw's & not structural so I don't know why they've been repaired when still available). body sills and jacking points represent remarkable. Paintwork is really isn't great but the rear wings are generally very sound . blue soft top resides under the cover with x2 minor holes But generally in very good order. Roof irons represent as new. Quite remarkable to have had the same owner for 47 years & only one other previous to him. The mileage is document supported & it drives. starts and stops as it did nearly 60 years ago !
