THE BUILD:
Unlike most of our builds, we have taken a different approach with this one (how could we not). Keeping as many items original as we could and maintaining the ultra-cool patina across the car, we ensured the car was structurally sound and mechanically ‘turn-key.’
The chassis and bulkhead are spot on. Fabrication in the past has been completed to a very high caliber and passed through inspection. It’s the original chassis, meaning this car can be imported to the USA or other overseas countries. (We can support with shipping and import duties.)
The engine, gearbox, drivetrain, brakes, and steering are also spot on and have been inspected. We have also driven this car for 150 miles to ensure top reliability.
This car has, of course, been subject to some mechanical work by us to make sure every element is as it should be. We hold ourselves to higher standards than required!
The Marine Blue paint has just the perfect patina, especially the bonnet!

RUNNING COSTS AND OWNERSHIP RETURNS
Each PROJECT 88 is MOT-exempt, ULEZ-compliant, and tax-exempt. Interest in these cars grows exponentially year on year, which supports their capital appreciation. A wider market and limited availability of good cars should ensure a safe bet for your money. Certainly more fun than wine, property, or gold… OK, maybe wine can be fun too.
