Description
Morris minor factory convertible October 1969, snowberry white, 92000 miles, original 1098cc engine and gearbox. I've owned this convertible since 2010 - prior to me it was in same family ownership since 1977! It is an older bare shell restoration done to a very high standard some years ago.
Structurally very solid - it was waxoyled about 2 years ago, interior is very good - rear seat is the original, fronts are I believe Newton commercial with headrests. It has inertia seat belts at front, rear ones are static seat belts.
Engine compartment is really superb with some components chromed.
Mechanically it's excellent and has electronic ignition & an expensive Laserline engine immobiliser.
Braking system totally overhauled recently including new master cylinder.
There is folder of paperwork to prove work carried out & how much money spent on new parts over the years.
Bodywork shows some superficial imperfections as its a older restoration, however it still looks really exceptional with excellent chromework. Hood is not perfect but doesn't leak.
Point of interest is that the reg number SOP98H was valued at £500 about 5 years ago!
It has an agreed insurance valuation of £10900 - paperwork to prove.
This Morris has a British heritage certificate.
This is a much cherished car with low ownership - a very reluctant sale because of lack of use. Must be seen - sensible offers considered.
